The Garden

Guests are welcome to stay around the house during the day, and to use the garden as a space to unwind. The right hand side of the garden is reserved for quiet prayer and reflection.
At the rear of the house there is a large balcony over-looking the garden and surrounding countryside. This is always available for guests to use.
There is an extensive fiction library on the landing and in the dining room, which guests are welcome to delve into. The combination of a quiet garden ( barking dogs not withstanding) a good book and a glass or two of cold beer or wine enable an effective un-wind after a busy day!
If you choose to be more active, there is an extensive collection of tourist information, both in your room and in the hall. Fishing and golf are all available - just ask for the relevant information and contacts! The local area also affords good walking and cycling opportunites.
